The view from our balcony shouldn’t be pretty. We have wasteland next to us and, marginally beyond that is the railway station (Lagos station is the end of the line so trains sit there for a while, when they come in) We have a large tree that obscures part of ou

r view directly in front (although it is cut back, compared to the tree further along, as I think our upstairs neighbours had it done for their view!)

Having said all that, beyond the wasteland and the station, and a mere 5 minutes walk away, we have the marina. 5 minutes further, and across the marina and river, is the main street in town  and beyond town itself are the mountains.

Sunsets are amazing. Every day is different and every day is stunning.

Nik has a good camera (as well as our general use, waterproof camera/camcorder combos) and takes some great photos. I just wanted to share some, all taken from our balcony with various levels of zoom and at various times of day (and night!) 🙂
